Re: Season ticket for rent
As I've said, I have sold tickets for dozens of games over the years, home and away, spare for a play off final etc, never once taken a penny over face value. Simple error on the price. Think I now have a taker. Cheers

Re: Season ticket for rent
If it's a good seat...buyer should expect to pay a premium...over face value... 😀

Re: Season ticket for rent
I did this last season and have done it again this season, it suits all parties, I tend to get a ticket when I want anyway as can’t make every home game, and mates who are on the waiting list get a seat with our group while they wait.

I call it the Tevez scheme, 3rd party ownership.

Re: Season ticket for rent
The person renting it would get first refusal on all cup games.

Re: Season ticket for rent
Well it's definitely better than having the seat go empty, as long as he and whoever rents it are both clear with what happens if we get to a cup final, for example!

OK whu. £500 for the season ticket.

Now, how much for your arse?

Without casting aspersion on whutr's intent, he may have accidentally invented season-ticket buy-to-let...

Good man. Good luck finding a decent home for it :)

There seem to be a few looking on here so maybe one of them will be interested.

Re: Season ticket for rent
I'm guessing his ST at Upton Park was band 4 and his ST at the OS is band 3...because anyone in the BML or TBL at UP who wanted an equivalent ticket at the OS had to UPGRADE to a band 3....just another example of the lies that were spun.

Re: Season ticket for rent
I am almost certain it is band 4, therefore £499

£599 was the figure I had in my head as my daughter had one too last season.

Apologies

Band 4 is 499

Re: Season ticket for rent
Thought it was £599. Never sold a WHU ticket a penny over face value inc play off final 06 so if that's the case £499 it will be. Let me check.

Band 3 are £599, he might mean that

Re: Season ticket for rent
Have you lumped £100 quid profit for yourself on to that?

Band 4 tickets are only £499, are they not?

Or that.

He doesn't want to go to the back of the waiting list if/when he decides to come back - and presumably wants dibs on any Cup Final tickets.

Re: Season ticket for rent
If you really must know, family break up. Now only see my child on Saturdays and the occasional Sunday. Been a season ticket holder 15 years and don't want to give it up. Can usually pick up a spare as and when I want to go but it's not the same as having your own seat among the people you sit with regularly.
